Terms of Use
Effective date: May 17, 2025 · Last reviewed: May 17, 2025
Who we are and what these terms cover
Consulen is an AI consulting firm based in Mexico. We help manufacturing and industrial companies understand their operational processes and deploy AI agents that work inside their existing systems — without requiring infrastructure changes or new software licenses.
These Terms of Use apply to anyone who visits our website at consulen.ai and to any company or individual that engages Consulen for professional services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.
If you have signed a separate services agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence over these terms where there is any conflict.
Our services
Consulen offers three types of engagements:
Discovery
A structured two-week engagement in which we interview your team, observe workflows, and produce a prioritised map of automation opportunities and a recommended agent roadmap. The Discovery is the starting point for every engagement.
Agent deployment
We design, build, and deploy AI agents based on the Discovery findings. Agents connect to your existing tools — ERP, spreadsheets, MES, email — and automate specific tasks. Deployment scope and timelines are defined in a separate statement of work.
Continuous improvement
An ongoing engagement in which we monitor deployed agents, optimise their performance, and run periodic re-Discovery sessions to identify new automation opportunities as your operation evolves.
We may update, expand, or discontinue any of these service types at any time. Active client engagements will not be affected without prior written notice.
Using our website
Our website is provided for informational purposes and to allow prospective clients to contact us. You may browse and use it for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to access, test, or interfere with any part of the website's infrastructure, scrape its content in bulk for commercial use, or use it in any way that could damage or overload our systems.
Intellectual property
The Consulen name, logo, website design, and our proprietary methodologies, frameworks, and tools are owned by Consulen. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of these assets to you.
Deliverables we produce specifically for your company — such as process maps, agent specifications, and custom-built agents — are yours once you have paid for them in full, unless your services agreement says otherwise. Our underlying methods and reusable components remain ours.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about our services, we may use them to improve what we offer. We appreciate the input and will not owe you compensation for it.
Your responsibilities as a client
A successful engagement depends on both sides holding up their end. When you work with us, you agree to:
- →Give us accurate and complete information about your processes, systems, and goals. Decisions we make are only as good as the information you share.
- →Ensure you have the legal authority to share any data, credentials, or access you provide to us during the engagement.
- →Obtain any required consent from your employees before we interview them, observe their workflows, or deploy agents that interact with their systems or accounts.
- →Not share, resell, or sublicense our deliverables or tools to third parties without our written consent.
- →Not use our work to build a product or service that competes directly with Consulen.
What we promise and what we do not
We bring genuine expertise and care to every engagement. We commit to delivering the outputs described in your statement of work on the agreed timeline, communicating proactively when something changes, and being honest about what AI can and cannot do in your specific context.
What we cannot promise: specific productivity gains, cost savings, or return-on-investment figures. Every operation is different, and outcomes depend on factors outside our control — how well agents are adopted by your team, changes in your processes after deployment, and the quality of the underlying data. Any estimates we provide are based on our experience and are not guarantees.
Our website and services are provided as-is. We do not make any warranties beyond what is explicitly stated in a signed services agreement.
Limitation of liability
Consulen is not liable for indirect losses — lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational damage — even if we were aware such losses were possible. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the issue arose.
This limitation does not apply to cases of fraud, wilful misconduct, or where applicable law does not allow such limitations.
Confidentiality
We treat everything you share with us as confidential. We use your operational data, documents, and business information only to deliver the agreed services. We do not discuss client details publicly or with other clients. Specific confidentiality obligations for your engagement are set out in your services agreement.
We ask that you treat our methodologies, pricing, and proprietary tools as confidential as well.
Ending the relationship
Either party may end an engagement by giving written notice as specified in the services agreement. If there is no services agreement, either party may end the relationship with 15 days' written notice. You remain responsible for payment for work completed up to the date of termination.
We may stop providing services immediately if you materially breach these terms and do not remedy the breach within 10 business days of our written notice.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. If a dispute arises, we ask that both sides first try to resolve it through direct conversation within 30 days of one party raising the issue in writing. If that does not work, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City.
Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms as our services evolve. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. For active clients, material changes will be communicated directly. Continuing to use our services after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
